Day 01
Arrive Mumbai
Company representatives will receive you on arrival at the international
airport in Delhi late in the evening. Transfer and check-in to the hotel.

Mumbai: - Mumbais skyline is recognizable in advertisements
and pictorial depictions stating the countrys technological and
financial hub. Its an imposing skyline. The contours are hazy
but the residents dont seem to mind. They love this place and
this all-encompassing love is infectious.
What are the few nail-on-the-head characteristics of the city? A walk
on marine drive, the gateway of India, warden road, university buildings,
fort, town hall, Mumbai high court to name a few. The waves splashing
against the embankment establish an essence of Mumbai too, much in the
same genre as the skyline. The pub and bar scenario here is quite state
of the art and ranges from the sophisticated ones in the five stars
to the hip and trendy ones in colaba and the suburbs. Mumbai is also
known as the Hollywood of India or Bollywood (from the names Bombay
and Hollywood) and is one of the biggest film industries of the world.

Day 02
Mumbai
After Breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sightseeing of Mumbai.
Visit the Gateway of India - the stone archway built in the 16th century;
warden Road, University Buildings, fort, town hall, and Mumbai high
court. Proceed for an excursion to the ELEPHANTA CAVES - 9kms by sea
from Mumbai. These 7th century rock-cut temples dedicated to Lord Shiva
after lunch.
After exploring the Mumbai, drive back to hotel for Relax.

Day 03
Mumbai Rajkot
By Air:
In the early morning, driver report at the hotel and provides the immediate
transfer to the domestic airport for flight to Rajkot. Company representative
will receive you on arrival at the domestic airport & Transfer and
check-in to the hotel.
Rajkot is quite a very beautiful and picturesque city and also the administrative
headquarters of the Rajkot District. Rajkot was founded by Thakur Saheb
Vibhaji Ajoji Jadeja of the Jadeja clan in the year 1612. The great
Indian Leader, Mahatma Gandhi spent his early years in Rajkot during
which time his father was a Diwan to one of the Saurastra Nawab. Rajkot
is quite well known for its Gold purity. It possesses one of the largest
Gold Market called as 'Soni Bazar.
There are an endless number of Tourist Attractions in Rajkot. The Tourist
Attractions in Rajkot include Shri Ranchhoddas Ashram, Swaminarayan
Temple, Race Course, BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, Kaba Gandhi No Delo,

Day 04
Rajkot Jamnagar
By Surface: 86 kms / 02 hrs
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the drive to Jamnagar. On
arrival, check-in to the hotel and after some time proceed for the sight
seeing of the city.
Jamnagar: The Jamnagar district, originally constituted as Halar
district, is not only recent in its origin but also in its modern set
up. But the region comprised therein is of great antiquity and dates
back to ancient periods of Jamnagar. The foundation of Nawanagar State
is credited to Jam Raval. In AD 1540 after winning conquests Jam Raval
founded the city of Nawanagar. During the rule of His Highness Jam Ranjitsinhji,
between 1920 - 1930, he developed the city according to western architecture
and built Power House, Vibha Vilas Palace, Jam Bunglow (Bhavendra Vilas
Palace), Pratap Vilas Palace, Mann Vilas, Amar Vilas, Arch Vilas, Badminton
House, Filtzer House, Coach House, Irwin Hospital, Solarium, Vegetable
Market, Grain Market, Nana-Ashapura's Temple, Sajuba Girls' High School,
Wellington Crescent, Bedi Bunder, Rajput Boarding, Infantry Lines, Jam
Raval's Statue, Jam Ranjit's Statue, Nursing School, Dayaram Library,
Port Office, Central Bank, Summair Club, Railway Station, Parsi Agiyari,
Anandabava Ashram, extention of Lal Bunglow, Ranjit Road, Central Bank
Road, Rajendra Road, Khambhalia Gate Road, Jam Bunglow Road, Talav-ni-Pal
Road, being the main ones.
The present district takes its name from the city and capital of Jamnagar
so named after the rulers who styled themselves as Jams. After re-organization
several territorial changes were effected in practically all the districts
of Saurashtra.

Day 05
Jamnagar - Junagarh Sasan gir
By Surface: 240 Kms / 05 hrs
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the drive to Sasan gir en-route
visit Junagarh - An ancient fortified city rich in Myth & Legend.
Visit Uparkot Fort - famous for its virtual inaccessibility, Ashoka's
Rock edicts - the fourteen rock edicts of the Emperor Ashoka, Damodar
Kund - A sacred tank. On arrival in Sasan gir, check-in to the hotel.
Sasan Gir: Gir Forest is today the only place in the world outside
Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat. The forest
also harbours a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators
are the Panther and the Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (spotted
deer), Nilgai (blue bull), Chinkara and the Chowsingha (four horned
antelope) are found here, along with the bear and the long tailed langur.

Day 06
Sasan gir
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the full day visit to the
world of wild fauna. Spend Time for Game viewing.

Day 07
Sasan gir Palitana - Bhavnagar

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the morning drive to Bhavnagar
en-route visit Palitana - The Place of Victory, famous Jain temples.
Jain Temple: - This is perhaps the best place of Tourist Attractions
at Palitana. It is believed that a Jain must visit this temple once
in his lifetime because that would guarantee his salvation. There are
in total 900 temples that have been carved in marble. During the nights
the priests at these temples are not allowed to sleep because the temple
is considered to be the abode of Almighty and sleeping at night might
make him angry. So, followers and priests alike remain awake during
night at Palitana Temple. A cluster of temples at Shatrunjaya Hill located
in Palitana is the best site of Tourist Attractions in Palitana. They
were actually constructed between 11th and 12th century BC, and eventually
destroyed by Muslim invaders. But still they retain their holiness and
attract people from all over the world. There is a fabulous collection
of gold and silver jewellery at Palitana temple. There are 3500 steps,
bedecked statues, intricate toranas and the exhilarating view of river
Shetrunjaya.

Day 08
Bhavnagar
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the morning visit to the Gaurishankar
Lake - a beautiful picnic spot, Takhteshwar temple & The Lock Gate.
Gandhi Smriti: Established with an objective of keeping Gandhian
thought alive, Gandhi Smriti is a living monument to Gandhiji. Opened
in 1955, the institution hoses a Gandhi picture gallery, museum, Khadi
Gramodyog Bhandar and a library. The institution has kept alive Gandhiji's
association with Bhavnagar and the States of Saurashtra.
Barton Library & Museum: Situated in the heart of the city,
this is the oldest and the renowned library of Saurashtra, which has
evolved into a cultural centre. Housed in a spacious complex, its reading
room attracts large number of readers who do not have access to various
newspapers, magazines and periodicals. The coin-collection is the chief
attraction of its museum.
Takhteshwar Temple: Made of pure marble and constructed in late
nineteenth century, the temple is situated on a hillock near the Takhteshwar
railway station on the railway line between Bhavnagar and mahuva. The
picturesque view from the temple adds to the serenity of the place.

Day 09
Bhavnagar - Surat

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the morning drive to Surat.
Surat holds a significant place not only from the industrial and commercial
point of view but also from the point of view of tourism. Surat is located
close to the Arabian Sea and enjoys a mild climate round the year. In
the 14th century, the Mughals made this city an important part of their
reign. There are a few exotic beaches in Surat that it rightly brags
of. This lovely place is located on the banks of the river Tapi and
is famous for the silk fabrics, brocades and the diamond cutting works.

Day 10
Surat
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sight seeing tour of the
city.
There are several historical monuments in and around Surat that can
attract tourists across the globe. Built by Mohammad Tughlak in the
14th century to defend himself against the belligerent Bhills, The Old
Fort showcases rich history of Surat. Dandi is historically very important
as far as freedom of India is concerned. It is the place from where
Mahatma Gandhi started famous Dandi March in 1930. Hajira beach is situated
28 kms from Surat. This pleasant beach is fringed by feathery casurina
tress and has a comfortable holiday home for visitors. Dumas are a popular
sea side resort located just 16 km away from Surat. Other places that
fall under the category of the Surat tourist attractions are Navsari
and Udvada which are known for the Parsi influence over them. The tourists
will also come across several edifices and monuments that are built
following the original Parsi architecture.

Day 11
Surat Mumbai
By Train:
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the railway station to board
the train to Mumbai. On arrival, check-in to the hotel, Relax.
Evening time at leisure. In night, transfer to the airport to catch
the flight for the onward destination.
