My neice and I spent a little more than two weeks using the services of Castle and King--and they delivered EVERYTHING they promised and MORE. Their contacts in each city were personable and professional. We had a car (relatively new and well maintained) and driver (who was with us for essentially the whole trip--very friendly and helpful, but spoke little English) and a different guide in each city (each of whom was very knowledgeable and fluent in English). We were met at airports and hotels, by company representatives, precisely as arranged--even when our train was delayed for six hours until 3:00 in the morning, our driver was right there at the platform. At trains, the guide would not leave us until the train had arrived. The hotels were as stated per contract or upgraded. The local agents were all very flexible with making last minute additions to our itinerary. (We "added" a guide for a night visit to the Ganges in Varanasi and on the last day my neice needed a guide for shopping in Jaipur.--I would recommend a guide any time you venture more than a block or two from your hotel--not so much for safety, but India can be quite chaotic.) I would not hesitate to utilize their services again. Arvind did a great job!

Hotel Arrangements:
Jaipur, Agra, Khajuraho and Kathmandu were excellent. We especially loved the Dwaraka in Nepal.
Guide's Services:
Jaipur: Ist day: Dev was an excellent caring guide.
Agra: Jitin Vohra was a terrific guide. He really wanted to make our stay perfect. He even searched for a place that could fix our broken camera lens and got it repaired before we had to leave. We'd highly recommend him. He took us where we wanted to go. Ishmel, the guide at Fatehpur Sikri, also was excellent. He told us so much on the ride to Agra about the countryside.
Khajuraho: Surendra Gupta made so many interesting arrangements for us which were not part of the original tour. We took a 1/2 day safari in the Panna Nat. Park, went to the Sound and Light Show and the Folk Dance Show. Went to a spa for a massage and visited a village when we told him that we wanted to see how people really lived. Terrific young man and we are still emailing
Varanasi: Chanchal Maurya protected us from the crowds of Varanasi and showed us much of the alley living. Excellent guide
Kathmandu: Excellent guide. Gave us time to shop but still filled our days with history.
Transport and Driver's Services: All drivers were excellent. We especially liked our driver who took us from Delhi to Jaipur and the driver that we had on the last day in Delhi. He was more helpful that the guide. The driver from Varanasi to the border was very good too. He stayed with us until our delayed flight left the airport in Nepal for Kathmandu.
